Psychotherapist/Mental Health Counselor - (at The Q’Lective)
MHC-LP #P129294, MA in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from NYU Steinhardt, provisionally licensed in NY state, BA in Psychology and Women’s Gender and Sexuality studies from Yale University, supervised by Verdah Kazi (LMHC #012557)
I work with adolescents and adults, and provide relationship, family, and individual therapy services; both virtually and in-person. I specialize in working with families of trans people and children of non-monogamous parents, but I also often see clients who are trans/gender-expansive, queer, chronically ill/disabled, non-monogamous, and/or kinky– engaging with topics like trauma, identity, relationships, sex, family dynamics, and navigating medical systems. I use a relational, anti-oppressive, humanistic and trauma-informed approach to create a space where the client feels safe and empowered to explore their most shameful and hurt places. My work is often emotion- and insight-oriented in an effort to deepen your understanding of your most authentic self.
