Khaleedah Dickerson

Khaleedah was born in Arizona, but grew up in cities all over the south. In college, she took opportunities to both work and study abroad when they arose, spending months in Singapore and Kuwait. After graduating college, she attended University of Georgia School of Law where she graduated in 2012. Following her interests in indigent criminal defense, fitness, community organizing and real estate, Khaleedah realized her true passion was promoting mental wellness in underserved populations. She is now pursuing a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer. Khaleedah is guided by her belief that all individuals deserve personalized, culturally competent and empathetic mental healthcare. Her interests include accessible mental health services for femmes of all walks of life, services for incarcerated individuals and their families, mind-body wellness, queer and trans mental health issues and mental health issues impacting young adults. Khaleedah enjoys travel, spending time with her chosen family, two children & two cats. She also loves reading (Afro-futurism and historical fiction) and participating in road races.
