He has previously worked in VA hospital, university counseling center, community, health psychology, and private practice settings. Because of Jared’s person-centered approach to each unique client’s treatment, they integrate elements of humanistic, feminist multicultural, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions. Using this framework, he tailors treatment to the needs of each client he sees. With couples and relationship therapy, their preferred treatment is emotionally focused therapy (EFT), which focuses on the attachment bond between partners and how negative relationship cycles affect the health of relationships.
