Shelley is a trauma-informed, strengths-focused therapist with over 8 years of experience and enjoys bringing humor and creativity into the therapy room. She specializes in working with LGBTQIA2S+ and gender expansive clients and strives to provide an inclusive space for all genders, sexualities, cultural identities and experiences. She works with adolescents and adults and specializes in anxiety disorders, religious trauma and faith deconstruction, depression, body and self-acceptance, trauma, relationship issues and life transitions. Her aim is to create a supportive, open space where she works with clients collaboratively to create goals for treatment and empower clients towards living a life where they find meaning and purpose. She provides clients with skills towards accepting thoughts and emotions, learning how to manage challenging emotions, finding peace in the present moment, resolving trauma responses and difficult memories.
