I am a DO, board certified in family medicine. I have the appropriate credentials of being able to prescribe all medications except I do not have an X number for suboxone/methadone and do not have the ability to prescribe medical cannabis yet
I am a family medicine physician who is currently accepting new patients to be their primary care physician. I can work with all clinic based forms of contraception, including Nexplanon and IUDs. I also can prescribe pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV (PreP) and can prescribe HRT for transgender individuals (no letter from a therapist required). I work with all ages and accept all major insurances (you may have to check your specific plan to see if they cover me, however, as insurances can be tricky like that).
