Liliana Alfaro

Co-creating a brave space where my clients can work on the relationships with the special people in their life, be it their partner(s), children, other family members, friends, and others, is what I am deeply passionate about. I enjoy working with couples, polycules, families, and people with other types of relationships. Relational therapy offers a unique opportunity for people to grow, heal from painful experiences, and build healthier relationships, whatever that looks like for each client. I will support you and your relationships along our therapeutic journey together by centering your unique strengths, needs, and goals.

I utilize Family and Relational Systemic Theory, Intersectional Feminist-Informed Theory, and Culturally Affirming Therapy with my clients. This includes, but is not limited to: culturally affirming therapy for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), the Latine community, the LGBTQ2SIA+ community, and those at the intersection of these communities. When working with clients, I will consider all their dimensions of culture and their intersectionality.

I provide individual, relational (for couples, polycules, constellations, and more), and family therapy (families of origin and chosen families), always utilizing a systemic lens. When working with couples, polycules, and constellations: I utilize Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment Theory, and Narrative Therapy. I strive to provide the most affirming space for my clients. In addition to therapy in English, I can also provide therapy in Spanish.

It is truly an honor and privilege to witness and support clients and their relationships throughout their therapeutic journey. I look forward to working with each client along their unique life path.
