Therapy sessions for couples or individuals are a combination of deep listening on my part, examining and gaining insight into your story together, and skill building based on your needs. Together we build upon relationship skills, self compassion, and the ability to stay grounded in the present. We keep a keen eye on how beliefs formed in the past impact today.
For me, this work is soul work. Not just for my clients, but for me. There is something in each of us that is reflected universally, and I am connected to that through our work together. I companion clients to explore how their identity and circumstances were shaped by familiar, political, cultural, and spiritual environments they have been exposed to. I believe each client has a healing force within them that guides our work together.
