Alana Baum LSW, MEd (they/them)

I see clients in-person in Philadelphia and virtually within the state of Pennsylvania. I work with adolescents 14+ and adults of all ages and backgrounds. I am particularly interested in supporting folks in navigating their relationships with their bodies and sexualities during times of change, loss, and transition. As a queer, non-binary therapist, I enjoy working with clients of all genders, on all journeys. I am poly-friendly, kink-friendly, fat positive, and sex worker positive. I love working with couples, close friends, and non-traditional relationships. I also enjoy working with fellow artists.

I bring a warm, permission-giving, and playful energy to the therapy space. My approach is relational and attachment-based. I specialize in gender and sexuality, relationship issues, sexual challenges, and grief and loss. I practice with an intersectional lens and seek to understand my clients within the context of their identities and histories.

I currently do not take insurance, though I’m happy to provide a superbill for clients with out-of-network benefits seeking reimbursement. I provide therapy in English.
