I offer individual psychiatric medication management and talk therapy, as well as romantic partner/family therapy, and group therapy via telepsychiatry. The unique combination of my extensive neuroscience research background and my psychodynamic psychotherapy training means that I am strongly in favor of evidence-based treatment, while appreciating the limitations of randomized controlled trials as assessment tools for highly individualized psychotherapeutic interventions. I will use both my knowledge of brains and my knowledge of minds to help you.
AREAS OF INTEREST:
I strive to maintain an open-minded and welcoming stance to nontraditional relationship arrangements, including polyamorous and other non-monogamous arrangements.
I completed medical school at Yale (where I also earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience), and psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, as well as extensive training in psychodynamic psychotherapy (both group and individual) at various institutes in New York City, including NYPSI, The White Institute, and EGPS. Languages: English. Population: Adults located in New York State at the time of treatment sessions.
