I have a MS in Counseling, specializing in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, from San Francisco State University; I also am a Level One Certified Ecotherapist from the Earthbody Institute. I am registered to work in the state of California, LIC #127418, supervised by Dr. Sheila Addison, LMFT 49616.
I have found that traditional talk-therapy doesn’t always get to the root of the problem, and in my practice, I like to incorporate breathwork, mindfulness, and bodily awareness exercises to help my clients reconnect with their innermost selves. I work with the belief that each client who seeks my help is an expert in their own life, and my purpose is to guide and support my clients as they work to overcome barriers and build resilience. I work through the lens of relational-cultural theory, and I use somatic therapy and ecotherapy techniques in my practice. I like to work with individuals, couples, and polycules, and I also enjoy working with teenage girls and nonbinary folks. I offer online therapy as well as walk-and-talk therapy in Santa Cruz County. I speak English, and I am working to become fluent in Spanish.
My full fee is $120, but I also have a few lower fee slots available for folks who are unable to pay the full fee (going down to $90). I unfortunately do not accept insurance, but I do provide superbills for clients with PPO insurance.
