Kristina Angela Fronrath

I graduated from the University of Michigan with my MSW in Interpersonal Practice and Mental Health in 2016. I am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have a passion for working with the LGBTQ+ community. I create a safe space for even the most taboo topics. I am knowledgeable and affirming of people who identify as poly, kinky, or are in other alternative lifestyles. I am a therapist who values honesty, integrity, and respect in every counseling experience. I am flexible and will work hard to create an individualized counselling experience for you. I help LGBTQ+ clients explore who they are and what they value. They will learn positive coping skills to manage stress, mental illness, and addiction. My clients learn about their thinking and how to change it to be more positive. They learn what makes them happy and how to get it. My clients learn how to manage conflict and to make boundaries with others. I speak English. I see clients who are 12 years of age or older. Right now I am operating virtually via Google Meet (HIPPA-Compliant), so I can see anyone in Michigan. I accept most major insurance, Medicaid/Medicare HMOs, and private pay options are also available. I can provide a free 15-minute phone consultation to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
