My specializations include working with LGBTQIA+ people and their concerns, people living with HIV/AIDS, people in non-monogamous / polyamorous / open relationships, I am kink-affirming, and work with clients on increasing self-esteem, self-worth, and self-efficacy, teaching coping skills, career counseling, using mindfulness, and teach assertiveness, boundary setting, and communication skills. My counseling approach combines person-centered, social constructionism, multiculturalism / cultural humility / cultural sensitivity, strengths-based, and cognitive behavioral theories. I received EMDR Basic Training in Spring 2024. I have experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, and those who are going through life changes. My main goal is to create a safe space for you to explore who you are, your experiences in life, and what you would like to become or experience, by providing a non-judgmental, respectful, calm, and stable atmosphere as your counselor. I currently am seeing clients age 18+ and exclusively via secure online video sessions.
