Samantha is an action-oriented, experientially focused supportive psychotherapist. Samantha is also a sex-positive therapist and works with adults in all types of relationships. She has trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Internal Family Systems, Non-Violent Communication and incorporates various mind-body practices into her clinical work. Samantha is also a health coach and chef, and has training in Nutritional Psychiatry (how food impacts mood). Her current focus is on parts work and embodiment practices, using what is happening in the moment as a way to understand patterns of dysregulation, build capacity and tolerance, and learn self-regulation skills.
She works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, numbness, and lack of vitality, as well those looking to improve their communication, emotional intelligence, self-awareness, or their connection with themselves and their bodies. Therapy is a wonderful tool for growth and self-reflection no matter where we are in our journeys.
