Joyce Miles Jacquote

My name is Joyce Miles Jacquote. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). I hold licensures in both Texas and Utah. My practice is completely virtual to serve you better where you are! I serve individuals ages 13 years old and up. I am skilled in providing individual counseling, relationship counseling, and family counseling. While I serve individuals from all walks of life, I am especially skilled in serving the Black/Brown community and the LGBTQ+ community.

I believe everyone has their own story to tell and therapy helps them to tell their story in a healthier and more effective manner. My role as a therapist is to help you identify in what way your story is currently not serving you. Then I work with you to develop the skills and tools you need to change your story in the manner you want. If your story includes a history of alcohol or substance use and you would like to reduce and or eliminate that use, I can work with you to do so as well.

I accept insurance in Texas, please reach out to learn which insurances are accepted at this time. I do not accept insurance currently in Utah but hope to do so in the future. For my individuals who may be concerned about the cost of therapy, I offer a few spots for those who would benefit from sliding scale payment.
