Nick is a white, trans masculine genderqueer professional counselor working in the behavioral health community for close to 25 years with experience in both direct care and administrative over sight capacities. I provide relationship counseling using Emotionally Focused Therapy. When I work with folks in individual counseling I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches to best match the needs of the individual I am working with. I specialize in working with gender, sexuality and relationship structure minorities, having lived experience and clinical training in each of these areas. When you come into my office I do my best to provide a warm and comfortable space where I can support you in becoming your most authentic self. I take pride in meeting folks where they are at and creating space that is both validating and challenging. I recognize and acknowledge minority stress and systemic imbalances and their impact on folks mental health and wellbeing.
