Kathy G. Slaughter LCSW

I’m the founder of Soaring Heart Center, a queer-affirming, trauma-informed practice in Indianapolis and virtually to all of Indiana. I have almost 20 years of experience as a therapist, 10 years spent practicing polyamory, and too many hours of professional training related to non-monogamy.

I provide skilled 1:1 therapy, deeply personal encounters with oneself and others through group programs, and use the most current knowledge, integrated with my lived experience, and passionate heart.

I offer support to individuals who are: questioning their sexuality, gender, or sexual orientation (kink, trans, queer, CNM), who are struggling with past trauma, and who have difficulty managing energy and making decisions. I also work with those who care deeply about consent and justice, as well as using plant medicines and spiritual practices to support personal development.

I serve all ages from older teens to adults. Sessions are $125 for 50 minutes. In addition to offering a sliding scale, I am in-network with Anthem BCBS and Medicare. The best way to contact me is through the interest form on the website.
