I specialized in working in Queer, Consenting Non-Monogamous, Kinky, and Geek communities. I utilize Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Geek Therapy. My approach combines knowledge from these unique communities with therapeutic techniques to encourage engagement and support clients’ growth and healing.

Population & Concerns:

I work with young adults and adults who have concerns in areas of anxiety, depression, gender expression/identity, transgender issues, Consenting Non-monogamy issues, Sex/Kink exploration, discovering purpose, relationship issues, and LGBTQAI+ related-stress.

Water Shepherd offers a unique combination of her experience in mental health and sound vibration to facilitate healing and optimal wellness. A vibrational frequency is used in conjunction with traum-informed neurolinguistic programming (NLP) to release truma, clear the mind, and find relief from PTSD, depression, anxiety, stress or pain. Individual, couple, family and group sessions are available.

I am passionate about helping to de-stigmatize Non-traditional relationships and helping to normalize non-monogamy, in addition to working with people who are curious or new to non-monogamy. Populations served: All adult ages usually 21-60

Certified relationship coach with focus in positive psychology, non-violent communication and attachment theory. Personally polyamorous for 7+ years. Virtual sessions and sliding scale available.

I use the Internal Family Systems therapeutic model to support individuals and pairs (occasionally more than two people) to work through personal and relationship blocks and challenges. I only work in English and offer afternoon and evening hours to all US time zones. Email is my preferred form of contact.

Yana Tallon-Hicks, sex educator & MFT Intern, brings a wealth of professional and academic experience with issues of relationships, sex and sexuality to her work with couples and individuals at the Couples Center of the Pioneer Valley. Yana’s areas of expertise include work with LGBTQQ relationships, non-monogamous relationships, and issues of sex & sexuality. She sees clients for a sliding scale starting at $100 per 90 minute couples sessions and sliding down from there.

Yana is currently a graduate student in the Marriage & Family Therapy Masters Program at Antioch New England and is also a sex & sexuality writer and educator known for her workshops for high school age youth, college students, and adults which work to create a welcoming & comfortable space to explore crucial aspects of our holistic, sexual selves such as pleasure, communication, consent & the body and have been taught at colleges and youth groups all over New England.

My mission is to enable my clients to communicate better in order to live healthy and fulfilling relationships. I myself had complicated romantic relationships in which I sometimes got lost, without taking care of myself and my basic needs to be loved, to feel safe, and above all, listened to.

With the years and my experience, I have acquired a solid professional practice. Firstly, thanks to a deep soul searching and also thanks to my ability to always want to learn more and acquire more techniques and methods to be happier in one’s life.

As a Relationship Therapist, TRA®, I work with individuals and couples/partners who live non-conventional relationships. I work in English and French.

My clinical approach is relational with psychodynamic principles, empowering my clients by challenging existing power structures. My ultimate objective as a therapist is to cultivate an environment where individuals can feel safe and supported. I love working with a diverse array of clients, including young adults and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. As an anti-oppressive, queer, sex positive and gender expansive therapist, it is my priority to offer accessible therapy to all identities and experiences. I have worked in multiple settings where individuals were experiencing comorbidity relating to unresolved parts of identity & self and substance misuse. We can’t really just treat substance abuse without taking into account a person’s experience in the world as a queer person - That’s the moment I recognized the importance of prioritizing the opportunity for such growth.
